Working for the European Credit Manager in this very busy department where high pressure and tight deadlines were a daily routine. My main duties were the production of documents, charts and expenses; organising meetings and travel arrangements; keeping a diary. I was also responsible of forwarding vital information when the boss was away from the office. A main aspect of my job was liaising with a network of Credit Managers and dealers throughout Europe.

When I started working for this Company I was responsible for the telephone reservations at head office. I was then relocated to the airport’s check in where I looked after VIP and passengers with special needs. It was a hectic and busy environment where I worked under pressure and to tight deadlines. The shifts were very long and I had to be always professional, often working without supervision.

I was responsible for the smooth running of a very busy office together with dealing with other reporters to make sure that all deadlines were met. Main aspects of the job were the advertising, layout and distribution of the newspaper. I was also responsible for producing articles very often to tight deadlines.

Voluntary Work and Exhibitions

 

Since starting my Degree course I have volunteered in Summer School at Somerset College and have taken part in a number of exhibitions. I have also worked on a short film commission for SPAEDA and volunteered at art workshops for Year 10 students run by them.

For the whole of September 2012 I was artist in residence at Courtfields Secondary School, Wellington, Somerset supporting a Year 10 class with a photography project
